Hefur einhver tjékkað á þessari síðu? er einhvað hægt að fara eftir henni? hún virkar rosa sniðug :)

setur inn málin á búrinu þínu ásamt hreinsidælu og fiskum eftir tegundum og fjölda, þá sérðu hvort þú sért með búrið "overstocked" eða ekki og hversu oft þú þarft að skipta um vatn og svoleiðis :)

Your aquarium stocking level is 282%

mjög sniðugt apparat samt, vissi að pangasiusinn yrði of stór fyrir búrið og að hnífurinn yrði of stór fyrir polypterusana

Warning: You NEED to add more aquarium filtration capacity!!!

Your aquarium filtration capacity for above selected species is 53%.
Your tank is too small - it will require massive amount of frequent water changes!

Your aquarium stocking level is 194%.
You should consider a larger tank for this combination.

Og svo passa tegundirnar ekki saman, en lifa þó og ég er meira að segja latur við að skipta um vatn

Og ég er alltaf að bíða eftir að það fækki í búrinu, en kvikindin hafa það bara svo gott að þau drepast ekki.

Hi guys,

I am the creator of AqAdvisor.com. If you have any questions or have any useful feedback on how to improve this site, I'd gladly listen to them. I am actively developing this site, so it is far from complete.

If no one here speaks English, I'll try my best using Google language tool.

Ef enginn talar hér ensku, ég mun reyna mitt besta að nota Google Language tól.

Thanks! :)

I am a Korean Canadian, living in Toronto by the way.

(I created another thread by mistake - please merge it into this one if possible)

Im pretty sure that most of the people on here speak decent english. So no problems there..
You could add more species to the species list, not nececery but would be better to make the site as perfect as possible. For example i didnt find Amphilophus Alfari, Polypterus Bichir Lapradei, Scleropages Jardini, but the website works well, expecially for beginners i would think.

I also posted the link on Monsterfishkeepers.com, that is a more larger site with over 50.000 members, so you should check out peoples reactions, not much so far though.

Are you a fishkeeper? Make a new thread and post pics of your tank/s and fish.

I think you are Jakob on monster board, correct?

Thanks for posting, and yes I am a member there already but I haven't used that forum much yet. I have left many responses on that forum now.

I am always open to adding new species. I've noted down your examples as well.

I'd like to make this app useful for advanced users as well. :)

I have been keeping fishes for 7 years, starting off with peaceful community types and went to mbuna and lake tang species. Unfortunately, I had to relocate and sell off all equipments about a year ago. I will probably start again once I find a permanent home again.

What's new for 2009 12 27 build:

- Added Metriaclima sp Aurora Yellow.
- Added Pseudotropheus sp Kingsizei (Metriaclima pulpican).
- Added Tiger Danio.
- Refined warning message for the species that require male to female ratios.
- Updated for Rainbow Cichlid. They should be raised in a group of 8 and also added some species specific notes.
- Updated for Silver & Asian Arowana. Minimum tank size has been increased to 100x35 inches.
- Updated for Asian Arowana. Size has been updated to 35 inches.
- Updated for Chanchito. Minimum tank size has been reduced.
- Updated for Yoyo Loach. Aggression defence has been increased slightly.
- Added Hydor Krystal series filters.
- Added Aqua One Aquis 1250 filter.
- Added "What's this" link next to filtration capacity number. Many questions were raised on what this % number meant.
- Fixed a bug: Occasionally, "Please specify the quantity of fish you want to add." is being displayed at inappropriate places. Now this is only displayed if you try to add species without specifying quantity.
- Fixed a bug: It was possible to bring down quantity of selected species to -ve territory. Now if user removes them down to zero or less, the given species will be removed from the selected list.
- Filtration capacity % will no longer be displayed as 0% if user didn't select any filters.
- Now displays an appropriate warning if a species that becomes aggressive when it starts to breed is mixed with another species that does not handle aggression well. This attribute is being fine tuned so it may not correctly display for all species.
- Introduced one decimal place for filtration capacities to gain some further accuracy.
- Added 6.5g bookshelf tank.
- Total number of tanks in DB has been increased to 58.
- Total number of filters in DB has been increased to 175.
- Total number of species in DB has been increased to 491.

I am way behind in terms of adding newly requested species due to my laziness during this holiday break. I'll work on those eventually so please be patient with me. :)

As usual, please click on AqAdvisor site to access the application.
