Það væri gaman að fá að heyra í einhverjum Vieja eigundum um hvernig þeim líkar fiskarnir o.fl.
smá info um þá fiska sem ég hefði áhuga á því að prófa, allar upplýsingar teknar af http://www.cichlid-forum.com
Vieja argentea
Stærð = 35 cm
All fish of this species will have silvery/white background coloration, with speckling and show a large, black spot on the caudle peduncle.
Color variations occur with more dark facial banding and partial striping in some individuals.
Well kept, healthy fish will develop light, purple/lavender hues in the base coloration.
Sometimes occuring, thoughout the body of the fish. Beautiful!

Vieja bifasciatus
Stærð = 35
Males will grow longer and become much heavier bodied than the females. A very attractive, larger growing cichlid species. Very aggressive.
Keep as established, compatible pairs in six foot long aquariums, if more than one is to be kept.
Having a tank divider handy to place in the aquarium, will help to insure the safety of the female, if the male becomes too aggressive.
If placed in community tanks, stock with more 'robust' hardy species as tank mates.

Vieja melanurus
Stærð = 40 cm
This large growing species will see the females attaining a max size of 12 inches as adults.
Males are quite heavy bodied, and develop prominent 'nuchal' humps with size and dominance.
A true omnivore, this species will appreciate a lot of variety in food types for feeding, with high quality, veggie based foods being the foundation of it's diet, for best coloration and health.

Vieja Zonatus
